Based on the apparent morphology of different silica sinter, the characterization of the fractal parameters of sinter was parsed. It was found that △αand f(α)max represented the number and homogeneity of the Fe3 O4 and CaO·Fe2 O3 ,respectively. And with the increase of SiO2 mass fraction, the reducibility of low silicon sinter was getting worse gradually, but the compressive strength was getting better. When the content of SiO2 is 4.8%,multi-fractal spectrum spectral width△αreached the minimum, and multifractal spectrum maximum f (α)Max reached the peak. This indicated that the calcium ferrite was distributed more uniform in the low silicon sinter and its formation amount was the largest. Therefore, with the increase of SiO2 mass fraction in low silica sinter, the reducibility be-came poor and the compressive strength gradually got better.
