利用同步热分析仪研究了2%(体积分数)残氧气氛下硅对弹簧钢氧化速率的影响.实验表明,硅元素在1170℃以下对氧化有阻碍作用,而1 200℃时有明显的促进作用.在1170℃及以下,60Si2Mn弹簧钢氧化层和金属基体之间有一个硅酸亚铁层,阻碍了铁离子向外扩散,导致了氧化减慢.而1 200℃时该层呈液态,并渗入氧化铁皮中,促进铁离子向外扩散和氧离子向基体扩散,加重了氧化.
