活性炭是目前国内外黄金行业生产所普遍采用的吸附材料之一，提金过程所用活性炭作为贵金属吸附的载体材料，在生产中起着至关重要的作用。由于活性炭成本较高，绝大部分矿山是通过活性再生的方式来实现活性炭的循环利用。2013年辽宁排山楼黄金矿业有限责任公司与北京理工通达环境科技有限责任公司合作开发了常温常压湿法活性炭再生系统，取得了重大成果。该方法与传统的火法再生相比，具有再生成本低、炭损低、安全环保等特点，为该公司取得了较大经济效益。
Activated carbon is one of the most commonly used adsorption materials in gold industry at home and abroad,which acts as the carrier material of precious metal adsorption in gold extraction process,an important link in the production. In light of the high cost of activated carbon,most mines reuse the carbon through carbon regeneration. In 2013,Paishanlou Gold Company and Tongda Environmental Technology Company of Beijing Institute of Technology worked together and developed the wet activated carbon regeneration system under normal temperature and pressure, making great progress. The system compared with conventional dry regeneration is low in cost and loss and is safe and green,earning profits for the company.
