The thickener is a solid-liquid separation equipment based on gravity sedimentation rules. This paper takes the grinding and flotation and tailings discharging process in the gold ore-dressing plant of Jiaojia Mine as the engineering background,briefly describes the working principle of a semi-deep-cone thickener,and mainly introduces the parameters control,common problems and their solutions of the?35 m semi-deep-cone deep cone thickener during operations in Jiaojia Gold Mine. It can be used as references for similar projects.
