The raise-bore drill is an important equipment in underground construction.The paper,taking the con-struction of blind complex shafts in Jilongshan Mining Company as engineering background, introduces briefly the structure and working mechanism of BMC200 raise-bore drill;elaborates the construction scheme,process,drilling and safety cautions during the construction of blind complex shafts.The blind complex shafts expansion project achieves an average excavation speed of 6.125 m/d which is a fairly good application effect.The construction can be instructive to excavation of vertical shafts,main ore pass and raise rock hole.
