Crushing is a very important link in the whole process of mineral processing in metallic mines and dur-ing crushing,the crusher is its equipment form which directly influences treatment capacity and energy consumption of ore-dressing plant.With Erdaogou mining company as the engineering background ,the paper introduces the production expansion and technical renovation process of Hongqi ore-dressing plant,and elaborates the structure,features and its production practices of the vertical shaft hammer crusher .The application of vertical shaft hammer crusher allows lar-ger feeding particle size(-350 mm) and gives off smaller product size (-10 mm),increasing crushing ratios and a-chieving good application results .
