According to the characteristics of association of gold and sulfide minerals in gold deposits ,strengthe-ning measures were applied in the all-sliming cyanide extraction of gold after the gold ore was fully ground .However , the sulfide minerals were to some extent soluble in cyanide solutions ,and the emerged soluble sulfide hindered the cy-anide leaching of gold .In order to reduce the negative effects of sulfide ore on cyanide leaching ,the air-blown method was first used to pretreat the ore slurry .The leaching effect was optimized by controlling the grinding particle size of gold ores, the cyanide concentration and the amount of dissolved oxygen and lead nitrate in the cyanide leaching process.Ultimately, the leaching rate of gold was increased to 95.4 %while the cyanide consumption was reduced .
